Pokey bum!
Yet another trip to Jaquecs Cartier and another animal we hardly ever see! Today's mammal was the Porcupine and it wasn't very scared of us. We wondered if there were some around because one of the trees we walked by had the bark eaten off of it.
I was looking for Porcupine quills under that tree when I saw a little object jump away from me. It turned out to be a little frog.
We went for a simple 5k walk on a trail half-way up the park. We're really getting antsy to go canoeing and/or camping next weekend.
The weather has been windy but today it calmed down a bit and was just wet, like being on a ferry and feeling the mist blow by. The weather should clear up for Wednesday when we play Ultimate.
